The Red Runaway

First one of a serie of 3 painting that I will post on dA. This serie is about the symbol of the hand.About this one, it was the second painting that I created for my Art studies. We have to work on colors and to get inspire by semantics of a chef-d'oeuvre (the one we picked was a painting of Van Gogh). I also experimented some new way to make textures. It was the first time that I used that kind of gouache. Well, it is an interesting medium, but I prefer acrylic for its viscosity and its easy impasto that do not crack like gouache.
